A relatively brief meeting that went smoothly until the last 15 minutes when resident Tricia Mezzacappa feigned concern for the borough over what is really personal grievances with me.

In The Video: The appointment of Paul James to Council / Advertising For Road Projects / Banking Change From Lafayette To Merchants / Additional Authorized Signature For Check Signing / The Need For Violations Appeals Board / Emergency Management Discussion / Councilman’s Life Insurance Payments (PSAB) Decided / Hubcap Store and New Business Near Johnson Trucking Discussed / Removal of Two Trees Approved / Codification of Zoning Discussed / Resident Mezzacappa Looks For Constable Work

Finally, resident Tricia Mezzacappa Tries To Make Hay: Offended By An Image I Use For Myself (Yes, for myself) On Borough Website (Alfred E. Neuman, of “What Me Worry” fame and often used for self-deprecation purposes by public officials – President Obama referenced his own ears to those of Nueman). Says it puts Borough in a bad light (This from the woman who wrote a Letter To Editor of Express Times supporting Ross Township murderer, Rockne Newell) : Offended By WestEastonPA.com Articles About Her : Throws Out Words, “Racist” and “Bigoted.” (This from the woman who reportedly used the “N” word toward a neighbor during a dispute over a honking taxi. She also misidentifies the beggar woman pictured in the article as “black”). I’m sure if I used an image of a dog begging, I would have been accused of referencing her to a canine.

Perhaps I should have reminded her that the election isn’t until next year. Or, that not everyone is African-American because they have dark skin. Thinking otherwise is a true indication of a racist.
