When I was told that a resident of West Easton wrote to the Wilson Borough Council, in an effort to screw their own West Easton community out of obtaining police coverage I was skeptical.
After all, it was known that the City of Easton, led by Mayor Panto, wasn’t going to renew the long-standing police contract. If Wilson couldn’t be persuaded to provide police protection, the community of West Easton would be left to depend on State Police, or scramble to create a new police force.
I requested from Wilson any letter received from any West Easton resident that advised their Council against providing police coverage to West Easton. Continue reading →
