Though the threat of severe weather caused the cancellation of a full Memorial Service to honor those who died in service to their country, a wreath was laid at the West Easton War Memorial this morning.

Mayor Gerald Gross, accompanied by Ms. Sharon Niko, laid the wreath at approximately 9 o’clock this morning. Ms. Niko is the daughter of recently resigned Councilman Louis Niko.

Among the attendees were some residents, as well as former Mayor Dunn of Wilson. Councilman Robert Lewis and myself were also present.

“Thank you” to employees Dane Thatcher and Dave Gehman who assisted.
