appealBlogger Bernie O’Hare has reported on his blog, Lehigh Valley Ramblings, that West Easton resident, Tricia Mezzacappa has lost an appeal of her harassment conviction that stemmed from her actions at the Municipal Building and on the Internet.

Last year, Judge Yetter found that Mezzacappa had harassed our former Borough Clerk and fined Mezzacappa $200 for the offense. It wasn’t the first time Mezzacappa had been in front of Judge Yetter, but he did fine her less than the maximum $300 that could have been imposed.

Soon after Judge Yetter’s decision, the borough clerk resigned and found work in another borough.

Though Mezzacappa had a Philadelphia lawyer representing her for the appeal, according to the O’Hare blog, it resulted in a worse punitive spanking than she originally received from Judge Yetter.

Her loss on appeal resulted in the fine being increased to the maximum $300.
