Code Appeals Board Members Needed

West Easton Council is in the process of creating a Code Appeals Board and is seeking residents to serve as members.

The Code Appeals Board would meet when a violation of a municipal code is issued and the recipient of the violation wishes to appeal the code enforced.

Though not expected to meet with any regularity or frequency to hear appeals, it would be an avenue of redress for those who live in, or own property in West Easton.

The Council hopes to attract those in skilled labor fields, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, and other areas that would be helpful in making determinations of appeals, but such skills are not required – only preferred.

It is also hoped that the Code Appeals Board will have at least 5 members, but 3 would be sufficient.

Anyone who is interested in serving on the Code Appeals Board should submit a Letter of Interest to Borough Hall.
