I found this video by accident, when I was reviewing the previous Halloween Parade video on Youtube.
It was apparently made by a video conversion company, who has posted a number of converted 8mm videos from other communities.
I’m attempting to contact the person it was credited to at the end of it. As of yet, no luck, but will let you know if I have any success.
I can tell you that it was filmed at the corner of 3rd and Keystone Streets.
Older residents may recognize many of the people in it.
Enjoy!
UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with Mr. Ray Morris, who did the film conversion from 8mm. The video was actually taken by a Mr. Swartz (sp?), who lived in West Easton at the time.
I will be doing a follow-up story about the conversation I had with Mr. Morris. It may interest others with old film.
