Last week I received the Bivalent Covid-19 booster shot. Unless a new one is developed for an incoming threat, I’ve now completed the series of four Moderna vaccines. If the cRaZy anti-mask, anti-vaccine nuts on the Internet are correct, I’ll be found, should I ever wander off and get lost.

When the first Covid-19 vaccine was developed I was on board with getting vaccinated, though I did delay a bit on the first shot, as I waited for reports of side effects from each company that offered it, while ignoring the conspiracy theory morons on social media were spreading.

Maybe it’s because I’m of the generation that received the Polio vaccine, a non-voluntary vaccine that our government developed to eradicate a devastating and crippling disease. The Rubella vaccine was another.

It was a different time, and a different generation. People didn’t fall victim to radical anti-government nutjobs, or refuse to wear a mask when asked.

Today, any idiot can post stupidity on the Internet and there are those who will retweet, copy, share, and believe.

For example, it’s reported that one-fifth of Americans believe that COVID-19 vaccines are being used by the government to microchip the public, in order to track us. Much the same way all paper money has a tracker in that security strip that runs through it, I suppose.

Disregarding the fact that such micro technology isn’t available, what makes people think they are so important as to have the government wanting to know their every movement? Get over yourselves.

There were other morons claiming that a COVID-19 vaccine would alter DNA in humans, along with those falsely claiming that a COVID-19 vaccine would cause 97% of recipients to become infertile.

The altering of DNA is ridiculous on so many levels. If the infertility claim were true, it would be a blessing for women wanting their tubes tied, and for men wanting to avoid the vasectomy knife.

Here’s a conspiracy theory of my own:

The government wants to cull the herd of fools. Those smart enough to get vaccinated will survive a Covid-19 mutation that kills those who refused to get vaccinated.
