West Easton may have the required funds to have an operational Public Works Garage sooner than expected.

Local Share Account (LSA) Grants were among those delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. West Easton had submitted applications to obtain grants from both Monroe County and Northampton County, to continue the Public Works Garage Phase II Project.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) Board met on May 25th to approve projects and award monies from various LSAs.

A Northampton & Lehigh County LSA Grant was approved for $59,573.

A Monroe County LSA Grant was approved for $162,642.

The total West Easton has obtained from these two grants is $222,215.
