When West Easton Council President Dan DePaul saw what Councilman Tom Nodoline’s wife, Patty Nodoline, posted on Facebook he thought it strange that this Council would be described as “out of control.” Especially when Tom Nodoline was the keystone for former Council President Kelly Gross.
DePaul knows this Council has done much in a short time to regain control of a local government that had gone off the rails when Kelly Gross and Tom Nodoline were, for all intent and purposes, running every aspect of the borough.
Council President Dan DePaul has asked me to post his review of our “out-of-control” Council in order for residents to be reminded of what we inherited, the chaos of the first months, and the hurdles we overcame. He doesn’t mention Tom’s involvement in West Easton’s Computergate, that caused many of the problems for Council and the loss of information the borough needed to function.
Dan is nice in his review, as he gives credit to all Council members for the accomplishments in the last 14 months.
I’ll be the one to point out that Tom Nodoline voted against much of Council’s accomplishments, didn’t bother showing up to the meetings, or left early from them when many of these actions were voted on or discussed. Residents only need to review the record of 2016 to see how much he was wasn’t involved.
