Tricia Mezzacappa’s Preliminary Hearing yesterday didn’t go the way she predicted. Her past braying of a dismissal at the hearing just didn’t happen.

On November 21, 2019, Mezzacappa will be facing arraignment on that charge of filing a false report with the PSP. District Magistrate Judge Richard Yetter found sufficient evidence to move it forward.

The alleged false report by Mezzacappa on February 11, 2019, claimed a black man [her neighbor] pointed a gun at her head, she drew her own weapon, and she fired off a round. The result of that claim was multiple PSP Troopers responding and wasting resources. Her attempt to frame an innocent black man backfired on her.

As it turns out I had some extra time yesterday to attend only the first 15 minutes of the preliminary hearing in person, but that was enough time to listen to the testimony of PSP Trooper, Corporal Shair. Shair is a 9-year veteran of PSP and a Patrol Supervisor.

Mezzacappa wasn’t too happy seeing me in attendance, as evidenced by her changing her Facebook cover photo yesterday afternoon, following her hearing. It is now one of her juvenile memes of me, but what was testified by a PSP Trooper certainly supports my diagnosis of Mezzacappa having a serious mental issue.

Where Mezzacappa falsely claims I charge a fee for my diagnosis of her (I give it for free), the PSP provided their own proof of her craziness, courtesy of testimony given. They also didn’t charge for the peek into the bizarre mind of Mezzacappa.

Cpl. Shair was one of four Troopers who responded to the February 11th neighbor dispute complaint involving Mezzacappa and her neighbors across the street.

Under questioning from Assistant DA Abigail Marie Bellafatto, Cpl. Shair’s testimony went well beyond what has already been gleaned from the PSP Criminal Complaint filed against Mezzacappa.

His testimony absolutely buried her. There was little Mezzacappa’s defense attorney could do, to counter the testimony that made it clear Mezzacappa lied and falsely claimed her life had been put in danger. It exposed troubling indications of Mezzacappa being mentally unstable, feeling persecuted, and possible issues with alcohol. She also has convenient memory loss, since she can’t recall the simplest of memories more than 15 minutes old.

Some of the highlights from Cpl. Shair’s testimony:

Mezzacappa claimed she had arrived home about 15 minutes earlier after running errands to different stores. According to Cpl. Shair, he checked the car hood and brakes for heat. “They were ice cold, as if the car had been parked for at least 2 hours,” Cpl. Shair testified.

When asked, Mezzacappa couldn’t remember the last store she had stopped at before returning home, according to Cpl. Shair.

Cpl. Shair described Mezzacappa as, “Irate. Angry, confused, and disoriented.” Mezzacappa “wasn’t making any sense,” said Shair.

Upon noticing a partially filled wine glass, he asked if she had been drinking and she admitted to having one glass of wine.

Cpl. Shair requested a preliminary breathalyzer test from Mezzacappa. She refused to take the test. Her claim of drinking one glass of wine became, “two glasses.”

During the interview regarding the dispute, Mezzacappa talked at length about corrupt politicians in West Easton and Mayor DePaul.

It was during this interview that Mezzacappa suddenly made the claim regarding having a gun pointed at her head, drawing her own, and firing her weapon at her neighbor, who she referred to as a drug dealer throughout the interview. “That was a surprise statement,” said Cpl. Shair. “I wasn’t expecting it,” he said.

Upon inspection of her weapon, the clip was removed and it was observed that it was fully loaded with 17 rounds of “full metal jacket” ammo, with no round in the chamber, indicating it could not have been fired even if the trigger had been depressed.

Mezzacappa accused the Trooper of “switching out” the ammo, because Mezzacappa claimed she had it loaded with hollow point ammo, said Shair. Shair further clarified that when the gun was inspected it had lint and debris in the barrel, indicating it hadn’t been fired recently. When put into an evidence container, it was sealed with tape to prevent contamination.

Cpl. Shair also testified that, when asked in which direction she fired her weapon, Mezzacappa pointed in one direction. Later, she indicated a different direction.

Cpl. Shair had Mezzacappa write a witness statement. The first had nothing to do with the incident. It was a rambling and accusatory statement regarding “West Easton” harassing her and about West Easton Mayor Dan DePaul, whom Mezzacappa believes enlisted the aid of drug dealers to break into her house, among the many bizarre and libelous words found on it. Mezzacappa’s first written statement can be read HERE.

Shair then had her try a second time to write a statement that focused on the incident at hand. That attempt produced a few sentences regarding the incident, but Mezzacappa didn’t fail to again include her libelous accusations about DePaul. It also included accusations about an unnamed “cop in a business suit” who failed to act against DePaul when she reported him at the Belfast barracks for something she claims occurred more than 2 1/2 years earlier. Mezzacappa’s second written statement can be read HERE.

Mezzacappa is a known liar to those who have been victims of her harassment and false claims of illegal actions. This time, however, she will be exposed to all as a person with no credibility, who will say anything about anyone, to fulfill her vindictive desires.

Karma has finally come upon her and she will be held accountable, despite her attempts to redirect the public’s attention to more of her crazy claims of RTK violations and other perceived wrong doing by the borough.
