I got on Congressman Matt Cartwright’s mailing list when I wrote to him and Sen. Pat Toomey last year with my opinion against getting involved in Syria.
At the time, both were officially undecided in supporting President Obama’s desire to put some missiles up Syrian President Assad’s ass over the alleged use of chemical weapons on civilians, by government forces.
Our involvement would have supported the rebels, which I was and still am against. Getting involved in Syria was overwhelmingly disapproved by the American public and it has finally come to light in our American press that most anti-government forces in Syria are made up of terrorist groups, or have ties to terrorist organizations.
Something that most of us who also read foreign papers already knew, long before the American media dared print it.
While atrocities have been done by both sides including Assad’s own forces, the summary executions of Christians by Syria’s “Freedom Fighters” continues.
