Councilman’s Home Damaged When Easton Police Pursue Vehicle Into West Easton

Newly appointed councilman Paul James found something in his basement shortly after 1:30 am this morning. A minivan.

The white minivan was the result of a chase by Easton police of the van that was spotted driving without headlights on. The pursuit started around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at 15th and Washington streets in Easton when the driver of the van failed to stop for the police officer. The car sped off and led police on a pursuit. This is the about the 1000th time I’ve written this article.

I’ve seen the same Super Bowl XLVIII so many times that the excitement of seeing that amazing play no longer exists.

Still, I’m obligated to go through the motions of recognizing a rodent that has created a one day tourist industry for some small town in western Pennsylvania that would otherwise have been forgotten.

Las Vegas Super Bowl XLVIII Predictions

Most line makers in Las Vegas are calling this Super Bowl one of the hardest to handicap in recent memory. The casinos are now holding steady at the Broncos being the favorite and giving up -2.5 points. With some exceptions the Vegas players are going with Seattle and taking those 2.5 points, which by all accounts means they pretty much believe Seattle to win the game, as only 7 of the previous 47 Super Bowls were determined by a difference of a field goal in the final score.

As for the point give, just 10 of 47 Super Bowls have ever had a Vegas line of three points or fewer. Continue reading
