While Northampton County reported low voter turnout on primary election day, West Easton Borough had the highest percentage of voters go to the polls this past Tuesday. Voter turnout in West Easton was 22.51%, up from 16.97% in May of 2013.

While a few individual wards within larger communities may have topped our percentage, the other wards within those communities brought down their overall average.

Williams Township’s West District, for example, had an impressive 31.65% voter turnout, but factoring in their Upper, Middle, and East Districts reduced the overall percentage to 17.9% for the entire township.

Other boroughs within Northampton County weren’t close.

Bath 10.2%

East Bangor 9.97%

Freemansburg 8.74%

Roseto 16.24%

Stockertown 13.26%

Tatamy 12.64%

Walnutport 8.79%

Wind Gap 13.44%
