Chief of Police Robert Mahady reported to Council on Monday evening that the third part-time police officer has been sworn in.
One officer was training with Chief Mahady on Monday. The other two have a busy schedule with other policing obligations until the end of the June, Mahady informed the Council.
Policing of the borough on a part-time schedule will increase, as days and hours are determined, beginning in July.
