One of the favorite remaining community events in West Easton returns on Monday, October 26th.
It’s the Halloween Parade.
Especially enjoyed by the children, even adults and pets are known to indulge in the walking display of ghouls, goblins, witches, and other less scary costumes.
Leading the parade will be the Wilson H.S. Marching Band and the Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, participants in past parades.
With the exception of 2012, when “Superstorm Sandy” caused the cancellation of the event due to widespread damage in the region, the West Easton Halloween Parade had been held each year for decades.
Participants this year will begin gathering at the corner of Iron and Front Streets at 5:30 pm. The parade will begin at 6:00 pm.
The parade route will take it down to 3rd Street where it will wind its way to a left on 6th Street and end at the lower area of the ballfield.
Additional festivities, including costume awards will follow.
