The Bell Tolls For Locked Doors And Short Hours At West Easton Borough Hall

West Easton residents no longer need to ring a bell and wait for the door at Borough Hall to be opened during business hours.

The West Easton Council has instituted a new policy which allows the public to enter the lobby area without having to wait for an employee to open it. The door that leads into the office area will remain locked for employees safety. It should be noted, however, that any employee working in the office who may wish the outside door locked for their own safety (should something unforeseen occur in the future) can have the outside door locked at their request.

Currently, all employees are agreeable to the main entrance door being unlocked, allowing the public unfettered access to the lobby.

Another welcome change is the Borough Hall hours being extended. Previously open Mon – Fri, with normal hours of 9am-2pm and only by appointment from 2pm-5pm, residents will find new hours and an extended day more convenient in the future.

Borough Hall will still be open 5 days per week, but Monday hours will be 9am-6pm. Tues – Fri from 9am-4pm. No appointment necessary.
