Rain Held Off For National Night Out Event

West Easton’s National Night Out Event found favorable skies from 6-8pm last evening, as residents gathered at the Borough Hall parking lot.

More people showed up this year, than last year, as the event appears to be growing in attendance slightly each year, since it was first restarted in 2017.

nno-2019-2It gave residents a chance to talk informally about the borough with pleasant conversation and food.

Former Councilman Louis Niko even made an appearance, brought to the event by his daughter, Sharon.

Councilman Pete Mammana manned the barbecue grill, as residents enjoyed his culinary expertise with hotdogs. Other food items were provided by a number of residents who brought dishes of their own.

Children enjoyed climbing into the fire truck, brought to the event by Safety First volunteers.
