The Pennsylvania Treasury might be looking to return some money to you. Pennsylvania Treasurer Rob McCord reports that PA is holding $1.9 billion in unclaimed money. When I posted an article yesterday about shyster Kevin Trudeau going to prison for promising people money and cures, it got me thinking about the legitimate lost money accounts that every state has. Pennsylvania has some of mine and maybe you have a little something coming your way.
It isn’t like I hit the lottery, or some long lost uncle left me his fortune.
Whatever the amount is, it less than $100. That’s all the PA Treasury website will tell me, other than where I was living at the time the money was due me. I suspect it is probably a deposit of some kind that I forgot to get returned to me.
Since it is under $100 I simply have to make a copy of my drivers license, or signed social security card and mail it in with the form I had to print out from the Treasury Dept. website.
If you are lucky enough to have more than $100 waiting for you, then you have to have the form notarized. It takes only a few seconds to find out if there is money owed you, so if you’re interested in finding out, use the search menu located at, PA TREASURY UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
If you find any money, I expect a 10% donation to the ministry I’m organizing:
Matthew’s Ministry For Not Truly Repentant Nymphomaniacs
