Though school districts haven’t officially closed schools for tomorrow, you can be assured they will.

With snow emergencies already declared in the surrounding communities the school districts serve, bus drivers can not enter those areas to pick up children.

I’m expecting school districts will start reporting closures very early tomorrow morning, if not later this evening when the first snowflakes start falling.

West Easton has been notified that trash pickup, normally scheduled for Thursday, will be delayed until Friday.

Residents living on emergency snow routes are reminded to have their vehicles off the street by 11:00 this evening, as a snow emergency will take effect at that time and last until 11:00 PM Thursday evening.

UPDATE 3/7 6:30 PM: Due to the accumulated snowfall being less than predicted the Snow Emergency will end at 9:00 PM tonight.
