Easton Suburban Water Authority (ESWA) will be flushing their systems in West Easton and Wilson boroughs starting tomorrow, Tuesday 7/16, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Flushing will take place over the next two weeks in different areas. For a list of what day streets will be flushed, see the ESWA Flushing Schedule, or call ESWA at 610-258-7181 any weekday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Residents are advised that they may experience reduced water pressure and brown colored water during the flushing process. The brownish water is not harmful, but it is aesthetically unappealing.
Residents are advised to bottle water for cooking and drinking use, should they desire clear water on the day their street is being flushed. Residents may also want to plan on showering or bathing before flushing begins at the scheduled time of 7 a.m.
At the conclusion of flushing, any brown color that remains in household pipes should clear by letting your faucet run for a few minutes.
