This morning I had the displeasure of finding the new MoneyPak virus on my computer (also referred to as, “Ransomware”). I don’t normally write about computer issues on any website I own that isn’t related to computers, but I’m making an exception on this, because MoneyPak is especially vicious. Richard Allen Freer, the Lehigh Valley’s version of Ponzi schemer, Bernie Madoff, has been arrested for allegedly bilking 82 investors of $10 million dollars. The amount of victims and the total amount stolen is likely to rise, according to DA John Morganelli.
Amazon.com is offering a free $50 gift card. If you’re like me, I’m always looking for ways to get free stuff from companies. When I find a way to beat them, I take advantage of it.
