A friend has asked me to help out some friends of his. Apparently, they are all dancers hoping to get discovered and find themselves in Hollywood some day.
They work hard at improving their dancing skills and routines, but they don’t have much money. So little money I’m told, that they often can’t buy a complete dance outfit. It’s very sad.
It’s even more sad to find out that many of them are single Moms, which is why I want to help them, as well.
I’m trying to collect donations from people, but it seems the women are too proud to just take a large amount of money at one time. In order that they retain their dignity I’ll have to give it to them in small amounts over the course of a night.
By handing them one-dollar bills.
