PUBLIC HEARING
The West Easton Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the West Easton Municipal Building (Borough Hall), 237 Seventh St., West Easton, Northampton County, PA to consider the following application:
Appeal of Adamson Street, LLC, 54 Main Street, Easton, PA 18042, Owner, for a dimensional variance, interpretation, and in the alternative, a Special Exception to have a Propane Filling Facility on the subject property located at 1550 Lehigh Dr., which is in the Heavy Industrial (HI) Zoning District.
A dimensional variance is requested from the rear yard setback to construct a proposed pavilion structure. Required setback – 50′, Proposed – 35.7′, Section 702.C.4.b.
Applicant is asking for an interpretation under Section 1407.C by the Zoning Hearing Board that the storage of propane within the proposed pavilion is not deemed outside storage. In the alternative, applicant requests a Special Exception under the allowable exterior storage in the Industrial Zoning District, Sections 1110.G and the Special Exception Requirements under Section 1407.J.
Applicant requests a Special Exception for the exterior storage of materials, equipment, and/or vehicles pursuant to the Industrial District’s exterior storage Section 1110.G requirements, and the Special Exception Section 1407.J.
All interested persons may review the appeal at Borough Hall, 237 Seventh St., West Easton, Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm and appear and be heard at the hearing.
