A West Easton resident is willing to buy all of Gilberton Borough’s police equipment.
It was reported in the local news that after letting their former one-man police force of Mark Kessler go, due to his ranting Youtube videos (though both parties agreed that nobody was at fault), Gilberton is eliminating the police force and will depend on the State Police for protection.
Obviously, they won’t be needing all that law enforcement gear they collected over the years.
So, I’m making an offer to Gilberton Borough.
$100 for everything you got. If I like what you got.
Vehicles, radios, weapons, ammo, vests, uniforms, patches, “stop resisting” sticks, menacing sunglasses, donuts, and even the coffee pot must be included. That’s a cash offer. I can bring 50’s, 20’s, or even singles, if you all want to take advantage of McDonalds’ “$1 and more” menu after our business is concluded.
If it was part of your police department, I’ll take it off your hands. I know a town that could really use it, or maybe I’ll start my own militia. I promise not to make any videos.
