If you hate the idea of grants saving West Easton taxpayers money, then you are going to have another complaint to add to your list.
West Easton will receive $46,091 in grant money for improvements to our Public Works Garage.
The new garage, located on Ridge Street, was erected in November of last year using money from a $60,000 grant previously awarded to the borough.
Phase II of our Public Works Garage project was approved for an LSA Northampton & Lehigh grant at the May 22, 2019 CFA Board meeting.
It is expected the money will go towards pouring a cement floor inside the building and electrical hook-up, among other items still needed for the garage.
Council will be discussing the best way to spend the grant money at a future meeting.
