The first of two sidewalks along Gerald W. Gross Park are being poured today.
The first walk, running along 5th Street from Iron Street to Keystone Avenue, is planned on being finished today.
The second walk, running along the northern side of the park and passing under the trestle is tentatively planned for pouring on Friday. All walks will include ADA ramps at the street corners.
The sidewalks project is being paid for with a previously awarded grant of $45,000.
UPDATE 4:15 PM Having checked on the progress, the 5th Street side is approximately 90% complete. The final pour for the remainder will likely be completed on Friday. The north side walk should be done sometime next week.
