If there’s one thing I hate doing it is Christmas shopping. I don’t do Black Fridays and I’m the guy that ends up at the local WaWa on late Christmas Eve looking for some item of crap that can pass as a gift, or re-gifting crap I got from somebody else the prior year (and hoping I don’t re-gift it to the same person who re-gifted it to me).

I’m the “Pro” in procrastination. Except for this year.

This year I did most of my purchasing on-line. Almost all of it was done using an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial (where it’s still not to late to have gift wrapped items delivered by Christmas), but I also found a great gift idea by purchasing gift cards delivered via email to people who I had no idea what to buy them.

I knew their favorite stores, but not what they might actually want from them. By purchasing a gift card and having it delivered by email, I even saved the price of postage in mailing it to them.

Sending gift cards by email has the recipients receiving them within minutes or at a time of your choosing. Choose from Visa, Home Depot, Target, Best Buy, or dozens of other popular brands all on one website. You can add a video message with the gift card, or upload your own image file from your computer, to be placed on the card.

It’s just an idea I thought I would share with you. It’s better than gift wrapping a box of Tic Tacs.
