Thirteen pallets of new recycling bins, with lids, have been delivered to West Easton and are currently in storage until ready for distribution to residents. Every homeowner that pays a refuse bill will receive a free bin.
It is anticipated that distribution will be made available to residents during a two week period later this month at the new Public Works Garage located on Ridge Street.
Bins will be available for pickup at designated hours and weekdays, including at least two Saturdays for those who work during the week. The exact dates and times have yet to be determined, but the public will be informed when the schedule is set.
Check your newsletter and sewer/refuse bill you will be receiving this month for more information on distribution, as well as the Borough’s website and Facebook page on, or about, April 15th for details.
Only one bin per sewer/refuse bill will be issued to homeowners for free. If you own two or more homes and have more than one bill, a bin will be provided for each different refuse billing account you pay.
Additional bins desired (beyond the free one for each bill) may be available at a cost to be determined, only after all bins have been distributed, or the distribution dates have passed.
Please do not contact the office regarding acquiring a bin before you receive your sewer/refuse bill this month and have reviewed the information that will be posted on the Borough website, Facebook page, and newsletter.
