Bernie O’Hare, blogger of Lehigh Valley Ramblings, posted a piece this morning of Constable Tricia Mezzacappa having brandished a knife at a BLM protester on August 1.
The incident reportedly occurred in Emmaus, where Mezzacappa was part of an anti-BLM/Pro-Trump group brandishing guns and antagonizing the protesters, according to an online petition seeking to remove Emmaus Police Chief Charles Palmer.
The petition seeks Police Chief Palmer’s removal for failing to provide adequate protection for the BLM protesters and not taking action when protesters were accosted.
Part of the petition reads, “We organized this protest to show that Emmaus does not stand for racism and bigotry. While we still believe this to be true, it is disheartening to see first hand that the leadership of the Emmaus Police Department accepts the aggressive behavior shown on Saturday and allows it to continue unchecked.”
Considering no charges were filed against Mezzacappa, is their opinion of the Emmaus Police Department true?
Mezzacappa is due in court very soon to face charges of filing a false police report with the PSP, in which she claimed to have fired her weapon at a black man who pointed a gun at her head.
Having been relieved of her gun, she apparently found a new weapon to threaten people with.
