The schedule for distributing the new recycling bins obtained through a grant has been set. The bins and their lids arrived last week and were put in storage until volunteers could be found with time available to distribute the bins to homeowners.
Mayor DePaul, along with Councilmen James, Mammana, Bolash, and myself will be on deck during our available days and shifts to distribute the bins from the new garage located on Ridge Street.
To make distribution less cumbersome and to distribute the correct amount of bins to homeowners, please bring your sewer/refuse bill(s) with you to the garage. One bin will be given for each different sewer/refuse account you pay. The account number on your bill(s) will make it easier to find your name on the borough’s master list of accounts that will be used at the garage.
Landlords (property owners) that are not able to pick up the free bins for their tenants must email the borough manager to give their permission to the Borough to have a renter pick up and sign for a recycle bin. Please include the address of the rental property, the account number and the name of the tenants that will be picking up and signing for the bins. Email the info to: BoroughManager@WestEastonBorough.org.
Bins will be distributed at 805 Ridge Street on following dates and times:
Saturday, April27th, 9am-3pm
Tuesday, April 30th, 10am-4pm
Wednesday, May 1st, 4pm-7pm
Saturday, May 4th, 9am-3pm
