Your Sewer/Refuse bill will be mailed on April 15th. Payment will be due on May 15th. This payment will cover the period from April 1, 2013 thru June 30, 2013.
ALL BILLS MUST BE PAID IN FULL. PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
If your payment has not been received by May 15th, a $20 penalty will be added to your amount owed. If you have not paid your bills for two quarters (6 months) you will receive a shut off notice with an extra charge of $50 to your account and shut off proceedings will begin. If your bill is still not paid a letter will be sent to the water company and another $50 charge will be added to your account
The Borough has a contract with the ESWC Water Company, that states water can be shut off at any time.
TENANTS: If you are responsible for paying the water/refuse bill, contact your landlord.
NOTE: If you do not get your bill in the mail, call the borough office for the billing information. Once the bills leave the office and are mailed it is not the Borough’s responsibility to ensure their delivery.
