Tucker Carlson may be out at Fox News, but let’s not kid ourselves. There’s more garbage Fox needs to put to the curb, if it expects to be perceived as being honest in the future.
Sure, the one-man MAGA propaganda machine may be out of a job, but the entire rotten network that enabled him and his lies is going to keep right on going – continuing its work to undermine our democracy.
Don’t think for a second this is Fox turning over a new leaf. They will try to spin it that way. Some others in the media might desperately wish it to be true. But it isn’t. They know MAGA nutjobs love to be lied to.
The Murdochs gave Tucker his platform. They give Hannity and all the other crazies at Fox platforms. It’s because they make money for the network. They saw Tucker as a liability, so they cut him loose.
Fox will likely keep Hannity, as they’ll want someone with his head up Trump’s ass for easy access to conduct crap worthy interviews during his 2024 run for re-election.
Murdoch will be looking for another head to roll and Lou Dobbs is a good candidate for the axe.
In the meantime, Fox viewers and Trump cultists can be assured lies, smoke, and mirrors will continue from the remaining “opinion” broadcasters who spread their BS to those eager to eat it all up.
