A Motion by the Commonwealth for an Amendment of Bail in an Emergency Hearing reveals “Constable” Tricia Mezzacappa told an acquaintance she had no intention of appearing for her April 21st sentencing.
According to the document found HERE, the person who contacted the PSP told them Mezzacappa indicated she was either going to “escape court or not go and wait in her basement for the PSP or Constables to show up and pick them off one at a time.”
She also provided the person with an envelope containing her Last Will and Testament, along with a handwritten page of passwords and pin numbers for accounts she owns.
Mezzacappa appeared today on a newly issued warrant and is being processed. She will be losing possession of any firearms she owns, which was not a condition of her original bail.
Judge Baratta could impose other requirements to be set, once Mezzacappa appears before the Court. Hopefully for the safety of our communities, he sends her to be evaluated immediately.
It is unknown if any additional charges will be filed.
