Verizon was given approval to add 6 additional antennas in the borough.

The 2-foot long antennas will sit atop utility poles. Five antennas will be mounted on Met-Ed poles already in the borough. Verizon has worked out an agreement with Met-Ed for use of those poles.

A new pole will be installed on 9th Street, and Verizon will compensate the borough $270/yr for the installation of this single pole.

The borough will incur no installation cost or liability for the new pole. If it is damaged, or needs repair, Verizon assumes all costs.
