Resolution Against PSP Service Fee Passes Unanimously

Despite our borough’s common scold being the only person to speak in support of residents being charged more than $20,300 per year, West Easton Council approved Resolution 2020-14 that urges state legislators to vote against the PSP Service Fee found in Gov. Wolf’s 2020-21 budget proposal.

Constable Tricia Mezzacappa, who doesn’t make enough income to pay Federal taxes and receives health care from the government at little to no cost, voiced her opinion to those at the council meeting, the fee is fair and it’s a slap in the face to law enforcement.
