West Easton Council Meeting on 9/22 Canceled

meeting announcement canceledThe second West Easton council meeting this month that was scheduled for Monday, September 22nd, has been canceled.

The meeting was planned to discuss the budget, which Councilman Paul James hoped to have completed and ready to present to the Mayor and the other members of the council by tomorrow evening.

Mr. James, who was made Chairman of the Budget Committee upon his recent appointment to council, had requested additional time in order to present a complete and accurate budget. He had hoped it would be ready by tomorrow, but on Friday, realized it wouldn’t be.

“There are costs that still need to be finalized and rather than just arbitrarily throwing numbers into the budget, I’d like to present something that is accurate and makes sense,” said James.

Councilman James believes it will be ready for the next council meeting scheduled for October 13th.
