When you need a quick dip with the traditional Mexican flavor, nothing goes better with friends than this avocado sensation!

Ingredients
  • 2 big avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime, juice
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • 1 medium tomato, skinless and diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Instructions
  1. Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove seeds. Scoop out pulp with a spoon; put the pulp into a small bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth.
  2. Peel and then dice tomato. Peel the and then dice the red onion. Place the diced tomato and onion in a mixing bowl. Add to the bowl the lemon or lime juice, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Chop the cilantro. Add sour cream, red pepper flakes and cilantro, mix well.
  4. Pass the Guacamole Mixture into a serving bowl.
  5. Serve with chips or quesadillas.
Notes
QUICK TIP
To easily peel a tomato, dip it fully into boiling water until skin wrinkles or cracks (about 30 seconds), then dip in cold water. The skin can be pulled off with no effort.
