  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup all-purpose baking mix
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. Italian seasoning
  • ⅛ tsp. black pepper

  3. Add the chicken drumsticks, a few at a time into the bag and shake to coat. Remove and arrange on baking pan.

Notes
SPICE SECRET
Creole seasoning contains black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and sometime thyme and paprika, most of which are found in other seasonings in this recipe. If you prefer not to buy a separate jar of Creole seasoning, slightly increase amounts of other seasonings.
BETTER RESULTS
The chicken will cook quickly and more evenly if you fit it in the pan in a single layer. If you don't have a pan large enough to hold all the chicken, divide the oil and chicken drumsticks between 2 pans.
