The 3-year plan to resurface all West Easton roads will see the second year of the plan completed this summer.

Council approved a $110,000 bid from Asphalt Maintenance Solutions (AMS) to resurface more than 5200′ of roadways in the borough. AMS performed the roadwork done in 2016, when the then newly elected council members began an aggressive program to make up for the absence of road repair work the previous six years.

The following roads will receive a Single Bituminous Seal Coat, followed by a Type 1 Slurry Seal:

1031′ of Ridge St.
742′ of Sterlingworth
481′ of Upper Center
675′ of Ninth
700′ of Tenth
481′ of Low

Two roads will receive a Novachip Bonded Wearing Course:

329′ of Seventh St.
793′ of Spring St.

No exact dates have been determined from AMS regarding when they will begin the resurfacing project.
