West Easton’s Memorial Day Ceremony will be held today despite the possibility of rain.
The ceremony last year was canceled due to a threat of severe weather that never arrived.
If there is severe weather at the planned start time, or happens during the ceremony, everyone will move inside the building and it will be held in the Council chambers, said both Council President Dan DePaul and Borough Manager Joan Heebner.
Bring your umbrella and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice – often in mud and rain.
The ceremony will commence at 9:00 a.m., at the flagpole near Borough Hall.
