Deltawash Lehigh Valley, the commercial laundromat that moved to West Easton has agreed to install water meters to record water usage that will be calculated for sewer charges.

The Deltawash manager was present at last night’s Council meeting and it was reported during the meeting that all necessary permits have also been obtained for them to run their businesses in compliance with borough ordinances and DEP regulations.

The water meters will be purchased and installed by Deltawash.

Because Deltawash uses spring water, rather than water from Easton Suburban, the spring water meter readings will be recorded by the Borough and forwarded to the Sewer Authority.
