Doug Brown, our Engineer from Barry Issett & Associates, received approval of plans drawn up for a sidewalk to be installed on Spring Street, running from Iron Street to Keystone Avenue.

The sidewalk and ADA ramps, that will be placed along the community park side of the street, will now be advertised for bids.

The cost of the sidewalk is expected to be totally covered by a $40,300 grant previously awarded to West Easton for the project.

If bids come in below the grant amount the extra money that remains may be used to cut the curb in front of the small pavilion. It is hoped that extra money will be available in order to install a sidewalk ramp leading to the pavilion’s garage doors.
